Art curatorial nomads

An international curatorial platform, engaged in creating exhibitions, digital products, and curatorial strategies, shaping a unified space for exchange and experimentation.

Alisa is one of the rarest types of curators I have ever had the chance to work with. She is a person beside whom you instantly find yourself in a safe, open, and honest working environment. She creates this atmosphere not through words, but through her behavior: composure, attention to detail, respect for every participant in the process, and an exceptionally high standard of responsibility.

She possesses a unique combination of analytical rigor and an almost childlike, yet disciplined, curiosity—rare in the market. With her, it is impossible to imagine a situation where an idea “fails” due to a lack of willingness to get to the heart of the matter. Alisa is always in search: for a new perspective, a new connection, a hidden layer of meaning. I still do not understand where she finds the inner resources for such a volume of research and openness to people.

Our joint project in London, where Alisa worked as a curator at art’otel London Hoxton alongside Helen Barrett, was particularly illustrative for me. It was one of those cases where it feels as if she already knows which way the situation will turn. You enter the process and feel that you are being both guided and taught. This is a rare form of professional partnership, where the competence of another person becomes your own growth.

Thanks to Alisa, I met new artists, expanded my field of work, and received several projects that became important experiences in collaborating with artists. Her intuition in selecting people and her ability to connect their individual talents is remarkable.

Our most recent collaboration, as part of her large-scale festival, only reinforced the sense of the breadth of her thinking. She invited me as a co-curator, and our team organized a collaboration between two prominent Korean and Russian artists. The way Alisa assembled the context, audience, communications, and conceptual framework demonstrated her maturity as a curator and her ability to create projects where different traditions and artistic languages begin to work together.

Alisa is a person with whom one wants to build long-term institutional trajectories. She creates a space in which art ceases to be a function and once again becomes a process of living exploration.
